Newquay is an immensely popular seaside resort on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall, England. Being an incredibly popular seaside resort Newquay features a selection of typically English seaside amusements including Camelot Casino slots, Carousel Amusements, Great Western Amusements, Playland Amusement Arcade, as well as a multitude of seaside shops selling buckets and spades and other beach gear. Even though Newquay has many of the elements commonly seen in British seaside resorts (such as Blackpool) it has somehow managed to retain some of its more charming aspects such as the harbour featuring both pleasure craft and working boats (shown to the left and below). Together with the miles and miles of golden sands Newquay ticks all of the right boxes for being a first class family vacation destination.

Surfing In Newquay

Although all watersports and other beach sports (such as kite-surfing, paragliding, land yachting abd wave-skiing) are amazingly popular along the seven miles of firm sandy beaches, Newquay is best known for it amazing surfing opportunities. There is a thriving industry based around this sport as there are beaches suitable for beginners and others more suited to the more experienced surfers. Many of the UK surfing population first learnt the sport in this area and there is an abundance of superb surf schools including Errant Surf School, Kingsurf Surf School, Offshore Surf School, O'Neill Surf Academy and West Coast Safari.
