A Few Different Yamaha ATV Models
By Calum MacDonald
There are a number of different Yamaha ATV models to choose from that allows kids to experience the thrills of riding these tough and ready-for-action four wheelers. The 2007 Grizzly 700 4x4 has all of the advantages that a young cub could ask for including High Definition Camouflage, over fenders as well as a gun mount and gun boot. These powerful machines give excellent power-to-weight ratio and with fuel injection, give instantaneous cold starts in all conditions.
The Grizzly Yamaha ATVs are wonderful for fishing, camping and hunting as well as other off-the-road activities. They have seats designed for comfort and are strong and can even tow other vehicles out of muddy conditions.
The Big Bear 400
The other Yamaha ATV that is most appealing is the Big Bear 400 that is a delight and is ideally suited to take on new territory with over fenders, plastic hand guards, rear rack extension as well as a front rack bag. It also has a new four-wheel independent suspension, rugged semi-automatic and a high-tech sealed wet brake out back with an ITP Mud Lite rubber to make it a purposeful ATV having potent 386 SOHC four-stroke single engine that delivers reliable as well as class-leading low end and mid range power to help tackle even the hardest chores as well as toughest trails.
All of the Yamaha ATVs are tough and ideally suited for all terrains, and provide comfort with innovations like Electric Power Steering and with big-bore utility ATV performance, are ideal for the outdoor loving owners. With the number of different models being sold by Yamaha, there is one for every rider with features such as independent rear suspension that make each one a super-comfortable vehicle over all terrains.
Any Yamaha ATV with engine of 49cc to 70cc should be used for riders aged six years or older, and with adult supervision. Riders who are twelve years or older can try their hand on ATVs with engines that are slightly more powerful, and which fall in the 70cc to 90cc category. If the engines are 90cc or more, riders should be at least sixteen years of age and whatever the ages are, riders need to have taken approved training courses before being allowed to ride their Yamaha ATVs.
ATVs can also be hazardous to operate, and for the sake of safety, they should not be used on paved surfaces as well as should not be driven on public roads, and the rider should always be helmeted and have eye protection as well as wear protective clothing. Passengers should not be allowed nor should the Yamaha ATV be used for stunt riding. Following simple rules can make the Yamaha ATV riding experience fun as well as safe and also provide season after season unparalleled enjoyment.
