Fishing is one of the most enjoyable sports and also rewarding; it brings together families, helps you clear your mind and relax while waiting for the fish to bite the bait. Fishing puts you right in the middle of the nature, practicing some of the most old and practical sport of mankind. Bass fishing has been practiced in US since 1800s and is probably one of the most common fish in our waters; however, when you get into new waters or are a beginner there are a few bass fishing guides to consider.
Know Your Territory
When in a new town or if you are a beginner in this sport you may first consider knowing the waters in which you are about the fish first and here are some simple ways to gain the required knowledge. Look up on the Internet the bass fishing guides for the particular area, you will always find extensive information. If you are in a vacation destination try and speak to the locals in fishing stores or with the local fishermen to find out the best location of the water in which you may find bass.
Even if you are an experienced angler when in new waters you may require basic bass fishing guides with regard to where are the best sports so you don't get disappointed and/or ruin your reputation. It is definitely recommended to hire a fishing guide when in new locations at least for the first day so he or she can give you the basic instructions and guide you to the right spots where you will find the bass for fishing.
The Right Bait
Most anglers today use artificial bait for fishing bass, which seems to work a lot better especially on bass. Again, if you are a beginner try and learn from all the bass fishing guides available around you and that is from other experienced anglers; most bass fishing is done with colorful artificial bait that seems to attract this type of fish the most.

A bass specific is that they seem to enjoy the hide and seek game and so you will be able to find them with ease in places with rocks, logs or where the waters has plenty of plants and weeds. If you are a beginner, start in small ponds where you can practice on smaller catch and move your way up slowly in that way you will not get disappointed and or not get startled when you do get a real big fish. You should know that bass fishing is very addictive because it is enjoyable and definitely rewarding irrelevant of the size of the fish or if you are the type to catch and release; the fact that you spend time in the nature and use your own tactics to catch the fish of choice will make your day and or vacation.
