It is also advisable to take it outside and view distant objects to ensure there are no distracting colored fringes or blurry images. Also, choose a multicoated astronomy binocular whenever possible.

Choosing an astronomy binocular in preference to a telescope is not such a bad idea after all, as they are highly versatile and will reveal craters on the Moon as well orbiting moons around Jupiter and, a lot more. In fact, one can spot Milky Way starfields as well as other galaxies with the help of an astronomy binocular. Other advantages of using astronomy binoculars include a wide angle of view as well as right-side-up images that enables one to easily find objects.
