What is Involved in a Cosmetic Botox Injection?
What happens when you go to get a cosmetic Botox injection is that your doctor will administer several tiny injections of the Botox directly into the muscles that cause those moderate to severe frown lines – usually between the brows – and then your doctor will determine where to administer the injections by examining that of your ability to move certain muscles.
Basically it is the location, size, and use of muscles that create a furrowed brow, for example, which vary markedly among different individuals. There is usually no anesthesia required, however in some cases the doctor may opt to numb the area with area with a cold pack for instance, just to make sure that there is as little pain involved as possible, if any at all.
In regards to the amount of time that you should expect to spend in the doctor's office, you can basically be able to get in and out of there without any downtime, and as well, you will generally see a marked improvement in regards to your fine lines and wrinkles that were treated within days.
In regards to the finding of a doctor for a Botox procedure, you will absolutely want to find a doctor that is qualified and that has lots of past experience, and as well, someone who is extremely familiar with Botox injection procedures. A good idea in particular is to talk to your friends and family members, and see if any of them have had any previous experience in this regards, because they can most likely then give you some good advice and information.
Just remember to take the necessary time and consideration into your decision overall, and keep in mind that you want to be completely comfortable and accepting of the decision before you go through with it.
