For the front yard, avid decorators can purchase inflatable Santa Clause and snowman figures that are lighted at night.

There are even tree toppers in the shape of Jolly Old Saint Nick. And no Santa is complete without a team of reindeer to pull his sleigh! Other popular figures that go along with the story of Santa Clause are elves, toys, and decorations representing the North Pole.

Another popular Christmas house decoration is the Christmas snow village. A Christmas snow village is composed of small, lighted houses and shops that display Christmas decorations. There are also figurines of people that fit into the color scheme of the snow village. Many decorators set up Christmas snow villages with cotton ball snow and lighted figures in prominent locations in their homes. An unused fireplace is a charming location to place a Christmas snow village. Snow villages are particularly popular with children, as they enjoy looking at the little figures and imaging the story going on in the tiny town.
