If you are able to sleep at the same time, you will find that your body normally regulates itself with the desired amount of sleep. However, remember that the best sleep your body can get is before midnight, so be sure that your night starts before then.
After you have gotten yourself on a regular sleep time schedule, you can start to experiment with different amounts of sleep.
