Yet another option would be that of stainless steel countertops, and if you are looking to have a really contemporary and industrial look in your kitchen, then stainless steel is probably the best choice for you. They are heat resistant and incredibly durable, and because they are constructed according to your own specifications, you can have a completely seamless countertop.
Regardless of what your choice is, the most important thing to remember is that you should make yourself as informed as possible before you make any decisions, so that you can be fully satisfied in the end, and so that you can end up with the best quality and worth that you possibly can.
