Learn A Few Simple Easter Crafts To Liven Up Easter Time
By Audrey Sneddon

When one thinks about Easter, one immediately imagines different pastel colors and cotton balls, Easter grass, as well as yellow peeps that all help to make Easter a time for a basket of eggs, some bunnies, as well as pretty girl dresses, each beautifully adorned and all of which makes spring a welcome break from long winter nights. It is certainly fun to begin planning Easter projects and being adept at different Easter crafts will help to make it an occasion to remember.

Make Paper Bag Easter Bunnies, Easter Jelly Bean Fudge And More

There are a number of Easter crafts that one can learn, such as making paper bag Easter bunnies, conjuring up Easter jelly bean fudge dishes, and weaving Edible Easter baskets. Even kids can learn Easter crafts that are inexpensive and most of the required supplies can easily be found at home. Making bubble photo frames should be another easy Easter craft that requires a short wide mouth cup, dish detergent, water, paper photo frames, food coloring, and a straw.

To make the paper photo frame, one can easily locate paper photo frame materials in a scrap-booking section of a craft store. One would then need to fill a cup with water and then add a drop or two of dish detergent, and also color the water with food coloring.

One can use the straw to blow until bubbles form in the water and then press the photo frame lightly into the bubbles and finally pull it away. This will result in some pretty designs that get transferred to the frame from the bubbles and it can be continued until there are enough pretty designs for which one may use more than one color for heightened effect. It is certainly an easy Easter craft to learn.

Another Easter craft one can learn is to make grass baskets which would require a basket with a plastic liner, potting soil, gravel, rye-grass seed as well as some charcoal. To make the grass basket, one should line the bottom of the basket with gravel so that it facilitates drainage.

Add to this a layer of charcoal so that things smell fresh, even if too much watering is taking place. Then, one needs to put topsoil into the basket about halfway from the rim and then liberally sprinkle grass seed onto the soil, which in turn, should be topped with a sprinkling of topsoil.

One should then sprinkle water onto the soil and ensure that it is moist. Put the basket in a sun-filled, as well as warm, area that does not get any drafts. Within four to seven days, the rye grass seed should sprout, and when the grass grows tall enough, one may even require trimming it. Starting such an Easter craft project early enough will ensure that, when Easter finally arrives, one will have a nice basket in which to lay Easter eggs.
