Fashion is a mode of expressing yourself through clothes. Clothes often represent a particular style or era and every year fashion designers try to add and create new trends that can represent the present time of the year and hopefully make a mark in history forever.

There are many fashion styles through, which we recollect a period of time. Those styles still live because they were extremely successful and often in a classic way which always was and will be eternal.

There are many of us who want to wear what is in fashion at any cost; not only in the present year but every single season: spring, summer, fall and winter. However, there is one thing we don't stop to consider, which the most important thing in fashion is: does the fashion style suit us.

How do you know if a fashion style suits you well? It's very simple; clothes are usually designed with different types of silhouettes in mind and even though we are no models from the runway, we must consider the following before choosing a fashion style: height, weight and skin tone. Everything in fashion is picked to match and put a person's best features forward and in order for you to put yours, you need to be aware of your body and skin tone.

Your height and weight will determine whether you should choose fashion styles that practice short or long skirts or dresses as each one can emphasize a feature in your body. Your skin tone will determine what color clothes you should choose and that too is directly connected to fashion styles as some designers create specific colors only.

It is important you be your own critic and friend in order to be able to choose the best fashion styles that will put forward your best features and thus, give you your money's worth. What good does it do to wear something that is the latest fashion but does not suit your style and personality?

Play Safe with Fashion Rules

Fashion styles should only be picked because you look good in them and not because they are in vogue. Also always remember, if you cannot wear the latest fashion design because you find it ridiculous, you can always wear something classic as it is always in style and it suits everyone without exception. If you don't know what colors to wear for an important fashion meeting, always stick with black and white as they are classic and always in style.
