A fitness first plan will differ from person to person when it comes to exercising and the type of diet required because we all have different needs and thus, they need to be approached differently in order for us to see any results at all.

Your doctor is the best person to approach and ask about what would be the best diet for you to loose and maintain your ideal weight; he or she will help you work out how many calories are sufficient for you in a day, what is the perfect balanced diet for your body and what exercises will provide you with results.
