The upkeep may be a little more hands-on, but the quality and endurance of your leather handbags are definitely worth the investment all around.

Leather is a much loved material for so many fashion must-haves; handbags, shoes, belts, wallets, hats, and even clothing. Cold weather means freezing toes and static hair for some. For others, it means sexy leather coats and stylish gloves. Classic handbags are always a staple to any wardrobe. A leather briefcase easily completes any business person, whether novice or experienced.

Faking The Funk

You may be one of the many women who love the look and feel of a leather handbag, but do not want to pay the sometimes hefty price that is attached to the desired purse. Many retailers are seeing the cost effective light, and featuring the same popular styles and patterns in a faux leather material. So you can have your cake, eat it, and still have some money left over. Saving moolah is one thing that definitely does not ever go out of style.

There are some disadvantages to faux leather; it does not have the same quality as the real Mc Coy ad may wear down faster than actual leather. The stitching can fray and pull much sooner; this may cause you to have to purchase another purse to replace it. The advantages to a faux leather handbag? Aside from the lower cost and money that is saved, there is little care required. You are also saved the panic attack if rain, snow, or a beverage end up all over your purse. Animal lovers can rest a little easier knowing the faux leather material is completely synthetic and man made.
