Cervicogenic Headache: What it is and What you can do About it

A cervicogenic headache is actually a rather complicated thing, and there are several different factors that must be considered in regards to this issue overall; basically, the cervical spine and associated muscular support of the head interwoven with vessels and nerve supply in the head and upper extremities, compose a truly complex structure with many sites for the generation of pain.
Therefore, a reduction in the space in which nerves pass through or lie can then cause pain and loss of function, and if the pressure is acute, then basically pain is more likely to occur, and this is incredibly important to understand.

Overall the most important thing is that you actually get in to see your physician, so that there can be a proper diagnosis and so that you can thus get the proper treatment that you need. This is a very serious type of headache, and so it is no joke and you absolutely cannot put it off until when you feel like it; going to the doctor immediately is an absolute must.
