The Truth about Headache and Dizziness

Headaches with dizziness are very common. When you experience this combination, experts recommend on taking a physical examination for diagnosis. This is because you have to detect if the occurrence of headaches and dizziness are independent or related.
Headache and dizziness can be caused by different factors, including food, physical activities, environment and other reasons. While headaches and dizziness can be treated by resting and following a proper diet, severe conditions could be relieved with painkillers.
If you're an active person and you exercise during a warm day, you are likely to experience headache and dizziness. When this happens, painkillers can be used. However, if you experience headaches and dizziness frequently, you have to visit your physician to determine if these conditions are being caused by other health disorders.
Caffeine and cigarettes are known to cause headaches and dizziness. So if you're a smoker and you experience these conditions frequently, try to stop your bad habits before taking medications.
You may be confused whether your dizziness is caused by headaches or headaches are caused by dizziness. You may also be confused in determining if these conditions are caused by other factors or health conditions.
Be aware that headaches and dizziness are two common experiences. It is important that you consult a medical expert and describe exactly what you're feeling, such as lightheadedness, nausea or vertigo, to arrive at an accurate diagnosis.
Medical Conditions that Cause Headaches and dizziness
While many people experience headaches and dizziness due to environmental and physical factors, others can be associated with certain medical conditions. These include viral infections, low blood pressure, anxiety and panic attacks, blood sugar levels and many more.
In most health conditions, dizziness is an inferior annoyance. However, if frequent dizziness and headaches are experienced, it may be warning signs of a more serious problem. This is particularly important if your headaches and dizziness results in passing out or fainting. When this occurs more than once, you have to seek medical attention immediately.
Headaches and dizziness are individually common medical conditions and when experience at the same time, it can be a symptom of different health disorders. To be diagnosed correctly, a physician should determine if the headaches and dizziness are independent, related to each other, or a symptom of migraines or other kinds of illnesses.
Whether you experience mild or severe headaches and dizziness, you should consult your doctor for pain reliever prescriptions or for diagnosis.
