Location
The Lynton Guest House is located in one of the finest positions in Newquay overlooking the 'Killacourt' (open grassed area for relaxing) and the unique 'Island House' on Towan Beach. The area is excellent for ball games, sun bathing and the likes. The sight of the waves crashing between the island and the headland is astounding and some twelve miles of coastline (to Trevose Head) can be viewed from the Lynton Guest House.
Accommodation
The Lynton guest house is now well established and has gained a 3 star rating from Visit Cornwall. All of the rooms have the facilities for making your own tea and coffee as well as a colour teleivision. The guest house also has the added bonus of central heating throughout. On arrival, all guests are given keys so they can go outside without the worry of getting locked out. There is free parking, but it is limited, there is also unrestricted parking not too far from the guest house. All food making is closely supervised and all staff maintain a friendly attitude as to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. The Newquay area is well known for its many beaches, mostly known in the surfing world as it holds surfing championships. The guest house is also not too far from the town center which is full of attractions: Restraunts, pubs and night clubs. There are also many beautiful walks and paths around the area which the beach-goers tend to miss. Not to far away are the Gannel Estuary Trenance Leisure Park Zoo and boating lake.

Travelling southwest on A30 follow signs for Newquay A392 approx 5 miles. You will come a village called Quintrell Downs at roundabout take 2nd exit. Follow road for approx 2 miles. At next roundabout take 2nd exit (straight over) follow road for approx 12 mile. At next roundabout take 1st exit onto Trevemper Road follow to next roundabout and take 2nd exit onto Ganel Road. Follow for approx 1 mile. At next roundabout take 2nd exit onto Tower Road and follow for approx 14 mile. Take 2nd turning on right into Hope Terrace (one way street). The road will curve round to the right where you will se a shop on thrigh hand side called 'Paint Spot'. Take the next turning on your left. It will look as though you are heading into the town centre and there maybe a lot of people walking in the roads!Follow the roadaround to the left passing the 'Central Inn Pub' which will be on your left hand side. Take the immediate right turn opposite 'Londis' onto Beach Road. At the junction turn left and then right where you see the sign for 'The Crecent and Hotels'.
