When you're working inside the house, check all your woodwork and walls, then determine if they need repainting or staining. Check all vents, ducts, carpets, air conditioner, heater and other details that require cleaning by a professional. Hire someone to do the job. Dust furniture, ceiling fans, lighting fixtures and other hard-to-reach items.

Once you've finished the interior of your home, the next tasks on your house cleaning list should cover the exterior of your home. For instance, check woodwork, paint, windowsills, glass, screens, doors or deck and make necessary repairs. Don't miss sweeping off dust, dirt and spider webs. Examine the entire exterior of your home to determine other tasks that needs to be done.
