One great house cleaning tip in particular which may not really sound like a house cleaning tip per say but which really actually is, is the fact that you should make sure to ask around to your family members and friends, and see if they have any tips or techniques for you that you can use, because you may be surprised at the amount that you will get from doing this.

House Cleaning Tip: The Best One

The best house cleaning tip of all perhaps would be the one regarding club soda; club soda is great because it is chemical free, inexpensive, and easy to use, and most of us already have it sitting around our house. As well, if there are children in the house, you obviously don't have to worry about them getting poisoned from this like they would from chemical cleaners and products of the like.

Another great tip is that in regards to wood floors, and the fact of how you can keep them looking great and new. Basically, most wood floors can be kept clean by first sweeping or vacuuming with a floor nozzle in order to be able to remove most of the dust and dirt that is on the surface of the floor, and then you do a damp mopping with clear water.

Remember to use very little water and to also make sure that you rinse your mop thoroughly after each use, since excess water is able to dissolve protective coatings, and can also alter the color of the wood and raise the grain to roughen the surface, which of course is something that you don't want.

As well, keep in mind that if your floors are not dirty enough to need mopping every week, then you should not do it, as this will not help but rather it will wear the floors faster, and not to mention it will be a great waste of your time. All you need to do during this time is sweep, and so that is what you should do.
