Reciprocal Links

If you are a web site owner or an SEO company you will understand the many benefits of trading links with other similar or related sites. Unfortunately trading links is now extremely problematic and there are many businesses which create hundreds of pages containing nothing more than links to other sites. In the past this helped a site do well on the search engines and some believe it remains a powerful way in which to exert influence on search engine returns. Simply Top Ltd was, at one time, involved in this practice but things have changed. One of the primary motivations in this change of attitude was simply the fact that such pages are not really much use to a visitor due to the way in which such pages are usually laid out. While we remain interested in trading links and getting links to and from related, quality and useful sites we follow an extremely strict code of practice. So if you want to swap reciprocal links with simplytop.com please read on.

As simplytop.com is now an information portal focused upon UK vacation destinations and general travel in the United Kingdom the number of related sites is actually rather immense. Imagine if we created pages with just a list of hundreds of these sites and then think if they would actually ever be used by real human beings. You will no doubt realise that such pages could not really serve a useful purpose. For this reason we include links at the bottom of our pages and would expect something similar in return.

If you want to have a link to your site appearing on one of our pages it MUST be directly related to that page - i.e we will not put a link to a furniture store in Liverpool at the bottom of our London page. Furthermore we will NOT, under any circumstances include any sites that are not directly related to UK travel & tourism - i.e. We will not list a furniture store in Liverpool on our Liverpool page as we believe virtually nobody visiting Liverpool on vacation would require such information.

However if you own a web site which is directly relevant to one of our pages, is of use to our visitors and your site is well built and well maintained we would give serious consideration to your request to trade reciprocal links - i.e. we would include a link to a car hire firm in Liverpool at the bottom of our Liverpool page.

Finally, I cannot stress enough that we only trade links with good quality, respected and respectful, web sites/organisations.

If you feel that you fulfil all of the above please feel free to contact us with your details, a suggestion of where on our site you would like to be listed and where on your site you would consider most suitable for the inclusion of a link to our site - please note that including us on a general links page or a huge list of links will be an automatic refusal (or rather your email will be deleted immediately as it would be clear that you had not read this page and therefore it would be highly likely that you are only interested in trading links with any sites just to boost the number of links to your site).

1 Way Links & 3 Way Links

Under no circumstance do we ever wish to trade one way or so called three way links so please do not ask. We only ever trade links where such links would be mutually beneficial to both sites visitors and 1-way-links & 3-way-links are usually employed to scam/spam the search engines, as we say earlier on this page we only trade links with respectable sites so I repeat - we do not trade 1 way links or 3 way links. The only time a one way link appears on simplytop.com is when we choose to link to a site we respect which would be useful to our visitors but on which a link to our site would not be possible to suitable - such sites would include UK government sites and the likes.
