You have always done something special for your mom each Mother's Day, but you want Mother's Day 2007 to be really memorable. Here are a few ideas to make Mother's Day 2007 extra special for your mother.

What Does She Like?

While thinking about how you can make Mother's Day 2007 a really special one for your mother, think back on all the gifts you have given her before. She loved all of them, no doubt, but you must have noticed that there were some that she got more excited about than other ones.

Make a list of all the gifts that you think she really enjoyed. Chances are that there is some sort of a pattern between them. If possible, for Mother's Day 2007 try to combine two of the more favored gifts that you have given her. For example, if she likes flowers and figurines, you should get her one of those flower baskets that have both included.

Find out from other family members or her friends what her favorite food of the moment is, and try cooking it. Culinary skills or not, she will no doubt be impressed!

Another way that you can make Mother's Day 2007 a special time for her is by gathering pictures from her life, and putting it on a slideshow in the form of a Powerpoint presentation. Of course, this works best if your mother has a computer to begin with. Put some music to the slides, and the result is a wonderful Day gift.

There are many other ways that you can make Mother's Day 2007 a memorable time for your mother. If you have siblings, perhaps you can present her with a gift that you all made as a unit. Remember, that the most important gift you can give your mother is the daily reminder of how much she is appreciated.
