However, since the health problem itself could cause loss of appetite, eating these cancer-preventive foods can be a challenge. For this reason, most doctors suggest the patients to continue eating food with lots of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and water.
Proteins could help the body in maintaining a strong immune system. Carbohydrates and fats, on the other hand, could provide the body with the needed healthy calories. Water can help prevent unwanted dehydration and vitamins with minerals could boost the body's energy supply.
For patients that have been diagnosed with cancer, you will probably given a nutritional program that could balance these important foods that can help in beating cancer with nutrition. However, prevention is still important; so to lead a healthy life, consult with your doctor about developing a diet program for cancer prevention.
