Trying Natural Pain Relief
By M. A. Fulmar
For some people who don't like the idea of ingesting pills of any type, there are things that can be tried in order to decrease pain. For those people who are trying to be health conscious, there are many organic foods which haven't been exposed to pesticides and are full of essential vitamins and antioxidants. Natural pain relief can also be found in the environment in which people live. Things like exercise can bring real relief. When people exercise, the body gains the ability to better defend it against viruses and other bugs and the muscle, ligaments, and tendons are strengthened preventing musculoskeletal problems. One other way to get natural pain relief is by eating healthy. This is a different way than organic foods. One should take a look of their eating habits during the day while at work and also at home in the evening. What snacks does the individual eat when it isn't the normal meal time? Foods that are high in fats or loaded with sugar can make the body work harder then it should. One vitamin that the body needs is vitamin D. Vitamin D is easy to get without taking a pill. The sun coming in contact with human skin produces Vitamin D in the body. Vitamin D is essential because it aids in muscle performance and physical function. It is also thought to help relieve pain.
Other Measures That Bring Natural pain relief
Vitamin C is another thing that aids in natural pain relief and can be had by eating foods such as; sweet peppers, peaches, and strawberries. Vitamin C aids in reducing cartilage injuries. Studies show that cartilage damage increases when there isn't enough vitamin C. Another food that can help fight off pain is fish oil. It can reduce the pain associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Fish oil can be found in salmonoids. These fish are salmon, and trout, and along with tasting great, they provide the essential fish oil needed. One more thing that can aid in natural pain relief is losing weight. For those who may be overweight and in pain, losing even a little weight can lower the amount of pain that one feels. With that being said, losing weight isn't a fix all. There are some sources of pain that have nothing to do with weight gain or loss. Some people can be shallow and will tell someone that they would feel better if they lost some weight but this is not necessarily true. If pain is persistent and is not aided by these simple measure a person should consult a physician to determine the source of the pain.
