How Cosmetic Perfume Has Improved Our Lives?
By Mary Henderson
Essence of flowers, plants, herbs and seeds were used since ancient civilizations to enhance the senses of the body and mind. Initially in Egypt and Asia essential oil from flowers, plants and herbs were used for medical purposes; soon incense in different types of scents was part of the offering to Gods and not long after the same essential oils started being used as cosmetic perfume to enhance one's personality and body scent. Aromatherapy is one of the main ways we benefit from cosmetic perfume; aromatherapy is created through essentials oil that are specially picked in order to induce a mood or state of mind in order to bring overall bliss, relaxation and tranquil or awaken the senses to bring forward sensuality.
How Do We Benefit From Cosmetic Perfume?
Cosmetic perfumes come in many different forms for example, in the form of creams to apply directly on the skin in order to accelerate the benefits and/or some use cream perfumes because it is milder than the liquid form of it. Another form of cosmetic perfume is concentrated essential oils, which are usually sold in tiny bottles and can be used for many purposes depending on the type of perfume for example; if it is meant for aromatherapy you can apply it directly on the skin, in a candle burner or in the water of a bathtub.
Last but not least the most common form of cosmetic perfume is the one we purchase ready made in bottles found in most department stores. Even though cosmetic perfumes today are mostly found in spray bottles they still serve the same purposes for example: a lavender mist spray can be used for relaxation purposes and a tangerine mist spray can be used with success to bring up with spirits and invigorate your soul.
Choosing a Perfume
A perfume represents your personality and character therefore, choose it with care; try as many as possible first before you decide on one but remember to never try a perfume on a piece of paper but always on your skin when it is clean and free of any other substances. Try only three fragrances at any one time because after that you will start mixing the scents as they are all made of essential oils and share the same basic composition.
Today most women and men have at least couple of perfumes; one for every day use and the other for evening or formal use however, with the large variety available on the market the temptation is huge and one always end's up with more perfumes that you can wear.
