Donna Karan is a well-known New York designer in the fashion industry, and DKNY perfume is just one part of her fashion empire. Donna Karan founded her company in 1984, and the DKNY store and line were established later in 1989. It spawned several labels that include DKNY Kids and eventually, DKNY Men. From head to toe, you can dress in Donna Karan for a complete look.

Designer Brand and Affordable Prices

A DKNY perfume is the perfect complement to your Donna Karan look. Upon checking the retail prices for DKNY perfumes, they seem to pretty much be in line with most other brands. For example, the Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Eau de Toilette Spray retails for an average of $75 for 3.4 ounces. This is a light, woody scent that won't overwhelm you and comes rather nicely packaged.

The bottle is frosted glass with an organic flower-like and feminine form that's actually quite pleasing to look at and will display your perfume very nicely. Cashmere Mist has two interesting ingredients: specifically orris and ylang. Otherwise, it seems to contain some fairly standard (or at least popular) ingredients like musk and sandalwood.

It also comes in a limited edition 0.2-ounce Cashmere Mist Eau de Parfum Roller Ball that retails for $40! Given the small amount, it seems rather costly. However, one assumes that it allows very specific application of the perfume. Still, even if you hunt down discount prices online expect to pay a pretty penny for this eau de parfum.

There seems to be a lack of men's fragrances, but another DKNY perfume that women may want to try is Donna Karan Gold Eau de Parfum. This floral scent comes in a bottle designed in partnership with a famous jewelry artist and has a nice frosted gold look to its rectangular shape that matches the perfume's name.

This DKNY perfume comes in several forms, including a 1.7-ounce Gold Eau de Parfum Spray at around $75, and also a 0.2-ounce roller ball form for $50. Some of the ingredients that give the perfume its name include golden balsam and gold pollen evidently. One of the more unusual ingredients is actually acacia!

Just put on your Donna Karan eyeglasses and outfit, and dab on a little DKNY perfume the next time you go out. You'll be ready to face your day (or evening) in style.
