Prada - Perfume and Shoes to Die For
By Mary Henderson
With its little silver triangle symbol, Prada is name known worldwide for luxury since its founding in 1913. The Italian brand's handbags, shoes, and dresses adorn Hollywood starlets and what woman could refuse a pair of Prada shoes? Prada perfume might be a nice gift for the Prada fan in your life!
Sweet Scents and High Fashion
If you already favor the Prada brand, why not complement your wardrobe with a Prada perfume like the Prada Eau de Parfum Refillable Spray. It generally retails at a rather pricey $95 for 2.7 ounces when available. This perfume by Prada has a lot of orange in it and includes things like bergamot oil and bitter orange oil.
Some of the more exotic notes listed in the ingredients include mimosa India and Peru balsam. A 2.7-ounce refill is available for around $65, but if you know where to look you can find these items for far less.
If you're a guy or a woman who wants to give her man to smell like Prada, try Prada Amber Pour Homme. The Amber Pour Homme 3.4-Ounce Eau de Toilette Deluxe Refillable Spray costs $95 and has a woody scent mixed with leather. According to its description, the fragrance is supposed to be reminiscent of a barbershop!
It has an interesting number of ingredients such as suede (that really was listed in the description!), Guatemalan cardamom, saffron oil, neroli oil, tonka bean, and vetiver. Switching back to more Prada perfumes for women, another scent worth trying is the Prada Tendre 2.7-ounce Eau de Parfum Refillable Spray, which also retails for around $95.
Most of the Prada perfumes share the same basic recipe, but some of the unusual ingredients in Prada Tendre include plum accord, verbena, and mate leaves.
Gift-Giving Ideas
If you really want to treat your Prada fan to perfume and other items, consider this unique packaging idea: the furoshiki. The furoshiki is a cloth used to wrap presents, and it's an old traditional method used by the Japanese. When giving your gift or gifts, try wrapping it with a Prada pashmina wool scarf as your furoshiki!
At one online site, Prada scarves were available for approximately $115 apiece. They usually retail for over $200, so it's a great bargain that will make you or someone in your life very happy when combined with a Prada perfume.
