Celebrities are idols for many of us in the way they dress, eat, behave and of course look. Most celebrities have undergone a plastic surgery at one time or another in order to correct an abnormality or simple remove those lines that none of the fans appreciate of want to acknowledge. The way the celebrities look affect us directly especially if he or she was your idol, which you never want to see grow old or be imperfect in any way.

Many obsessive fans and not only will go through various cosmetic plastic surgeries in order to look like their idol and thus feel like he or she is now part of your life; this often happens in teenagers trying to copy and become one with their idols. There are also some of us who look naturally like one of the celebrities and some will take the step of undergoing a plastic surgery to accentuate the features or bridge the gaps that are missing in order to look just like that particular celebrity.

Famous Celebrity Plastic Surgeries

There are a very large amount of famous celebrity plastic surgeries because almost all of them have had one at one point or the other but, of course some are more famous then the other and have even been copied by their own family and celebrity colleagues. Pamela Anderson got famous instantly with the breast plastic surgery and the role played in ‘Bay Watch' and has been copied by many other celebrities but with not the same luck as she did. Angelina Jolie is yet another celebrity whose plastic surgery to enlarge her lips has created waves around the world and has been copied by many other celebrities and fans as well. Michael Jackson, the king of pop music, is famous for the number of plastic surgeries performed and was copied by his own sister Janet Jackson who, said wanted to be just like her brother and that is the reason she got the plastic surgery.

Have Celebrity Plastic Surgeries Improved or Ruined Our Individuality

Getting a look alike celebrity plastic surgery will probably get everyone's attention for awhile and you may become for a short period of time famous and popular but after a while the whole thing will grow old and you will not even be yourself anymore, which is more like loosing your own character and personality because you are in fact imitating someone else. All plastic surgeries are expensive so, besides loosing your originality you would also be in serious debt to either a bank or your family and friends and frankly you will not have much to show for besides an already known face. Obsessing over a celebrity is okay as long as you don't take drastic steps like spending all your savings on a plastic surgery to change your features to his or hers, as that happiness will be short lived.
