The winter sports coverage offers payments if there is an avalanche or other unforeseen event which causes the vacation to be shortened or cancelled; golfing insurance allows payments for equipment, lessons, and unused green time due to an accident.

Saga's travelers insurance can also be extended to family members or other persons on the vacation, to a limited extent even if they are not using Saga's travel agency services. This insurance may even be extended to people of any age, even children; people over seventy may have limited benefits.

Saga's travel insurance will accept most people with pre-existing medical conditions, their friendly staff can evaluate each person's situation individually; they suggest that most people purchase traveler insurance at the same time they book their trip.
