Choosing A Valentine's Gift For Him
By Sally Brompton

Guys have it easy. The good old stand-by of the heart shaped box of chocolates and flowers works for nearly every Valentine's Day. If they're feeling especially romantic and have a few bucks in their wallet, you may get jewelry. Not that this is a bad thing mind you, most women like chocolates, flowers and jewelry. It's just that buying a romantic gift for him for Valentine's Day is nearly impossible unless he likes facials and massages at the day spa.

What Do Guys Like Anyways?

Sex. Okay so we all know it's a fact of life that guys love sex, but it's getting harder and harder to find tasteful sexually arousing gifts. I don't know of many women that would prefer to stroll on down to the local adult bookstore to pick up a Valentine's gift for him, even if he went with them. It goes back to that whole double-standard society has regarding women and sexuality. Good girls just don't shop at the adult bookstore. Period.

That leaves mail order and online shopping to safely obtain your sexual paraphernalia and gifts. Finding a trustworthy company that delivers discreetly and is not going to sell your name, address and email address to adult oriented mailing lists is a big concern. Be sure to do your homework on the company before ordering.

What other gifts can you get him for Valentine's Day? If your man likes a certain sport such as golf, you can quiz his golfing buddies to find out if there is a certain golf related item he's made mention of wanting lately.

You can also check out his golf club bag to find out if he's damaged any clubs or is missing anything necessary for a good game. You can always pay his dues at the local golf course and ask for a gift card stating the same to present to him on Valentine's Day. Doesn't seem romantic to us gals, but most men would be thrilled with such a gift.

Just Ask Him Already!

Before Valentine's Day arrives, make mention to him that you will be shopping for his gift and see if he seizes the opportunity to tell you all about his latest heart's desires. Let him give you several ideas so that the actual gift he receives on Valentine's Day still remains a surprise.

Whatever gift you choose for him for Valentine's Day, he'll appreciate the thought you put into selecting a gift as long as you try to keep it personalized to his tastes and personality.
