Even though water from the tap is officially declared as drinkable in many places, there are many chemicals, bacteria and contaminants present in it that can damage your health.

A water purifier machine is activated by a knob switch that can be turned on or off as required. You can use your tap water normally for washing dishes or mopping the floor once the switch is off. Most water purifier machines don't tolerate hot water well unless they are specifically made for the same and therefore you will need to read the instructions carefully.

Water purifier machines are not only designed for drinking water purposes but also for showering as sometimes, depending on the place you live, the water may be hard and thus, can damage your skin, hair and even clothes in the process. Due to this reason, many use water purifier machines, which are specially designed to fit shower heads and to keep out all the chemicals and contaminants.

Hard water can affect your washing machine as well as clothes even if you use softener and other such detergents in order to modify it. Therefore it is recommended to use a water purifier machine in order to prolong the life of your washing machine and clothes as well.

While for drinking purposes some will use mostly bottled water, a water purifier machine is better in most cases as it provides you drinking water directly from the tap as well as for other purposes such as washing and showering that you cannot do with bottled water.

The water purifier machine filters will need to be changed every couple of months or as indicated on the directions that come with it. When you replace it you will have a chance to see for yourself what amount of dirt is collected on the filter and you will be glad you chose a machine to clean your water.
