Besides the fact that the do it yourself wedding favors will be great fun to make, you are assured that your gifts are totally unique. What better way to show your appreciation for your guests?

Simple Yet Beautiful Do It Yourself Wedding Favor Ideas

There are plenty of inspirations around you for some great do it yourself wedding favor ideas. Whatever you choose, ensure that you keep in tune with both the theme of the wedding as well as the nature of your guests.

1. A beautiful exotic flower sapling – buy seeds of some exotic flowers (do not select seasonal flowers, because they will live for only one season, and you will want your friends to remember for much longer than that) and plant it sufficiently in advance to become a strong sapling by the time your wedding day arrives. This could be wrapped/ packaged in beautiful personalized boxes. Choose small variety plants so it will not inconvenience your guests when carrying it back home.

2. Decorative gel candles – you can make exceptionally beautiful gel candles with as much decorations in between as you would like. These would not only make excellent do it yourself wedding favors but also allow you to insert sufficient things to make it a meaningful memento.

3. Potpourri sachets – you could make an excellent potpourri of your favorite herbs and plants and gift it in a sealed fabric bad on which you could inscribe (with fabric paint) the wedding details. You could also seal it in perforated cellophane paper along with a thank you card.

4. Magnets and or buttons – you could have your and your would-spouses photos signed with good wishes and greetings miniaturized and placed over magnets. Alternatively, you could have magnets done on any wedding theme in general and let me sign it for you.

5. Soaps and/or candles – it is extremely easy to make soaps and candles and inscribe them with the wedding particulars. Alternatively, you could fashion the soap and/or wax into a wedded couple figures which will delight anyone.

Whatever you choose to do, you should be able to reflect the choice and the theme clearly and concisely. Your choice for do it yourself wedding favors should be able to express an warm “thank you” to all your guests.
