Western Wedding Favor Completes Country Theme

For many country lovers a western theme wedding may be an ideal environment for the bride to corral the groom and a western wedding favor is just the thing to bring it all together. From ropes and horseshoes to milk pails and feedbags there are many forms of a western wedding favor to fit right in with your theme.

A small candle resting on black or brown ribbon in the shape of a rope can make a good western wedding favor with an attached note thanking the guests for sharing in the party after the wedding. The candle can be in the form of a small clay flower pot to add authenticity to the decoration.

Small canvas bags, about two-inches by three-inches with a gold string to tie it closed can hold candy or other small favors as a western wedding favor looking like a feed bag. Ideally, candy that is not prone to melting can be placed in the bag and distributed around the tables. White, black or tan miniature cowboy hats turned upside down and filled with candy can also serve as a western wedding favor about one-inch by 3-inches, including the brim of the hat.

As most are aware, rice has been replaced at weddings, usually by bubbles, and having your bubble containers in the shape of a cowboy boot can lead the way into your western wedding theme at the reception. The boots and hats in metallic confetti can decorate the tables with perhaps a metal cowboy hat charm as a western wedding favor on the table.

Make Your Favors A Shoe-In For Success

A larger western wedding favor may be a six-and-a-half by four-and-a-half-inch horseshoe sitting at every seat or the cowboy hat charm can be replaced with a charm shaped like a horses head, or both alternating on the tables can show how serious you are about your country themed wedding reception.

When many people think western they think of the west and deserts and a small potted cactus may make a good choice as a western wedding favor sitting on each table. Mini stage coaches and covered wagons are also available to decorate the tables at the reception.

Cookie cutters in the shape of a cowboy hat or boots are becoming popular as western wedding favors as a note with the names of the bride and groom can be attached with twine or maybe a horseshoe-shaped keychain will make your guests remember the night for years to come.
