Foods on the Atkins weight loss diet plan tend to be high in protein. A sample menu of foods that you would eat on the Atkins weight loss diet plan include: steak, eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese omelets, and avocado cream soup.
Jenny Craig
One of the most heard-about celebrity endorsed weight loss diet plan of late (ahemm, Kirstie Allie), Jenny Craig is a program that consists of three levels. The first level teaches clients how to eat what they want in small portions. The second level aims to increase the activity levels of clients. The final level teaches clients how to balance their diet and exercise so that they can maintain their healthy weight for life. Also, Jenny Craig has a 24 hour telephone support line, as well as a certified board of medical, psychological, and nutrition experts.
The South Beach Diet
Though the South Beach diet has been compared to the Atkins diet, there are some notable differences. The main differences between these two diets are that, while the South Beach Diet does not ban fats, the Atkins diet does. Also, the South Beach Diet doesn't count grams of carbohydrates. Although you are required to restrict carbohydrates, just as you are on the Atkins diet, the South Beach weight loss diet plan encourages you to eat healthy carbs.
