Weight Loss Tips for All Potential Losers!

The human body is designed to store fat – so for anyone wanting to try and over-come the battle of the bulge, it is obvious that they already have one major disadvantage. However, include other potential weight-loss challenges, such as delicious, high calorie foods, finding time to buy and prepare healthy, low-calorie foods and finding the time to exercise, it is easy to see how hard it can be to lose weight – and keep it off. However, there are a number of weight loss tips that we try to keep in mind to help us reach our weight loss goals – many of which we can incorporate into our daily lives, making them part of a newer, healthier lifestyle for ourselves. Weight loss may be hard to do, but if we are consistent, and we want it badly enough, we do have enough pull to make it happen. Here are a few weight loss tips to get the ball rolling…
Weight Loss Tip #1 – Burn, baby, burn!
If we want to lose weight – we need to burn more energy than we are taking in – simple, but true. Once we understand this, it is clear that we need to find ways to burn more energy – because the more energy we use, the more fat we burn. Of course, this includes work-outs at the gym, but it also includes the little things – carrying the shopping, walking to the bus-stop, playing with the kids, having more sex… the list is endless! Try to incorporate at least two new activities that get you moving more every day, and you're well on your way to substantial weight loss.
Weight Loss Tip #2 – Eat More Protein
Yes, I did say to eat more! More protein that is – lean protein. Because we can only eat so much of it, protein is an excellent way to keep your hunger under control without going over-board on calories. As well as filling us up, protein is also low G.I, meaning we will feel fuller for longer. So rather than have a bowl of pasta, opt to have a lean, grilled steak accompanied with a large green salad. And being high in iron and minerals, it's also better for your over-all health.
Weight Loss Tip #3 – Pump Iron
And that includes you, too, ladies! Research has shown that for each kilo of muscle you build, you will burn 70-100 more calories per day. This can add up to quite a large number of calories over a week, a month, and a year, making it an ideal way not only to lose weight, but to keep it off. In conjunction with this, you'll also feel great and look better than ever!
Weight Loss Tip #4 – Eat 6 Meals, Not 3
This time, I'm not telling you to eat more, just more regularly. Research has shown that by eating 6, smaller meals as opposed to 3 large ones, you'll be less likely to feel hungry and therefore less likely to eat more than you need to. As well as this, eating more regularly will help boost your metabolism, helping to burn even more calories.
Weight Loss Tip #5 - Laugh
This final weight loss tip has to be my favorite – laugh! Tests have indicated that having a good belly laugh helps us to reduce stress, boost our immune system, and guess what – burn more calories! So if you need a boost, phone a friend, go see comedy, and have a great time – not only will you feel fantastic, but you'll be burning calories all the way! Just don't buy the popcorn this time.
