Xbox360 System: Taking Gaming To New Heights
By Tony Cunningham

For the new generation of gaming consoles, the Xbox360 system is a wonderfully entertaining platform that has many advanced hardware specifications. In fact, Microsoft claims that in the age of HD, this platform is bigger than the processor and, most experts agree with them. There are also many things that the Xbox360 system will be able to pull off, since it represents new technology.

The new technological breakthrough in the Xbox360 system is the result of hard work that hundreds of masterminds have put into creating this ultimate in gaming devices. The Xbox360 system can provide Engine-3 powered games that run at 1280x720 along with full screen anti-aliasing.

Microsoft Has A Head Start Over The Competition

The Xbox360 system was first given the green light for being developed in February 1999 and its aim was to take the gaming industry into new directions in order to improve the way that games are created. Since gaming was heavily dependent on software, Microsoft has a head start and thus, was able to come up with a new way that has led them to advancing the gaming industry as never before attempted.

The Xbox360 system was meant to be a magical product that would create a seamless experience between player and the game. Towards this end, the Xbox360 system is more focused on power of a different kind – that of human energy. The Xbox360 system is meant to evolve into a living, breathing experience that is way beyond merely players gaming and, to get the desired results, Microsoft hired independent design firms to get more variety on which to work on.

Such is the performance of an Xbox360 system that, contrary to expectations, it has surpassed Nintendo's GameCube and, is busy eating away a chunk of the Sony PS2 market. Basically, the Xbox360 system is white in color and has a brushed metal DVD tray as well as metal and chrome accents on the console's sides. It is just under a foot tall and three inches wide in an upright position but, can also be place flat, like its Xbox predecessor and is also stackable. One can also remove as well as upgrade its 20GB hard drive and, one is able to pop out the hard drive and take it to say, a friend's house, for more entertainment and, even without the hard disk, the console will still continue to function.

It comes with a wireless controller and it is also possible to synchronize multiple wireless controllers with the Xbox360 to avert interference with currently used frequencies. All in all, one gets superior performance and great entertainment with this Microsoft product that will pay back the cost many times over.
